This is a great game. It was semi-hard to figure it out but i got it on the second try.

Fun little game i played for my birthday :D took me a moment to understand- love the art aswell!

Very interesting concept!

Nice

Incredibly disturbing and confusing, but overall interesting. Felt really good to finally figure out the mechanics. Great work! (First game in the video)

This game starts at the 18:17 mark. I absolutely loved this, the idea is so interesting! It seems so simple, yet at the same time gives this quality of tension and anxiety every time the blood loss starts to arise! Awesome work!

An experience. Short and sweet, but well worth it. Best to go in not understanding, makes it better :D

Took me a good minute to understand the controls, but once I read the chat I understood what to do. It was a good short game.

i tried hours but still don't get it.

ps: srry for being rude

^-^. No need to continue playing the game if you dont want to haha, but the key is to keep an eye on how your blood loss reacts whenever you swap between blades. Does it go up, or does it go down? Does this change whenever his hand changes position? Could his hand possibly signify which blade to go to?

The game had to be kept short as a limitation of the jam that it was entered in, so sorry if the mechanic was not quite clear, but thank you for taking the time to play it regardless ^-^

this game was really unique and fun i like how it puts You in a saw like experience i just wish there was more levels i made a video if anyone would like to enjoy

This was a cool game! I was really confused at first, and then I took a break and came back to it and I got it! This was a fun game to figure out! The most fun part of the game was figuring it out and it was just the right difficulty. Nice!

Really glad you enjoyed it man! Glad you were able to stick it out! :)

Ew, nice game. The instructions are a bit tricky to get the hang of at first.

The idea for the game was for the player to figure out the mechanic by keeping an eye on their blood loss and seeing how swapping between blades affects it, however it definitely could've been more intuitive. Glad to see that you got the hang of it eventually and didn't get too frustrated. You have a fun personality, and it was really enjoyable to watch your video! Thank you for taking the time to play it! Your points were very valid (and goddamn hilarious), and we will use your critique to better our future games! Interesting game. We had fun with it.

Thank you so much for featuring Slice on your channel! We hope to get some feedback from you! :) - George Patterson

I don't understand the rules :(

(1 edit)

The game was designed in such a way as to give the player the opportunity to figure out its rules rather than be a game that your hand is held through. Try looking at your "Blood Loss" meter and see how it reacts when you swap between blades.

If this is not clear through the gameplay itself then we apologize, and shall try to make our games more intuitive in the future ;)
